May wonders never cease to amaze!
The miracles of birth...
It's a GIRL!!!!! born June 26th @ 4pm after a very long, hard labor Palmera X (Fran's Farm) Sebastion's little girl was delivered.
Momma llama & cria are doing well. Palmera was 7 weeks past her due date but this little girl was definitely worth the wait. "Head & Heart's Ellie Mae" is a perfect 10! A beautiful Black and White paint with lots of style and presence. 20 lbs. at birth and very, very tall and stretchy. She is taller than all of the other 3 little boys born earlier this month and at 2 hours old was neck wrestling with the other cria.
Pictured at 5 days old. Ellie Mae is consistently gaining 1 pound a day, thanks to her Dam's excellent milk supply.

At 5 weeks past her perspective due date Zoe Anne had a 20 lb. curly "True Black" boy~ Aaaayh, I did mention that I DO LOVE MY BOYS, didn't I? This cria is another Ithamar Sired cria. He looks just like his dad and his dad definitely passed along his own good looks and characteristics. We are very pleased with this breeding and our careful selection to match the Sire and Dams. They've given us another beautiful boy.

On June 12th we were blessed with yet another LATE cria! Yes, another boy!!! "Did I mention that I love my boys?" Head & Hearts' Calypso weighed in at 22 lbs. very tall and stretchy. He's dripping with tons of solid Black fiber with Copper undertones. Aspin Glow is Dam, she is our 2001 National Champion Show Llama, placing 7th in her Adult Medium Wool Female Conformation Class out of 21 and Ithamar our "True Black" Llama (sold last year) is the Sire. Aspin, delivered 4 weeks and 5 days past the usual 350 day gestation date. "What's up with that???" "I wish I knew" We are just thankful that he is here. Calypso & Windrose Bleau will both be offered For Sale at 6 months of age after weaning and training. Keep watching them grow, we are expecting some awesome happenings out of these 2 little boys.
